Nabil Captan

Nabil Captan first came in to the U.S in 1970. He attended San Diego State University and majored in cost accountancy. Nabil has been working in the finance arena for over 27 years now. He has worked for AEC Westinghouse for13 years as a financial comptroller, 11 years in Monrovia, Liberia and 2 years in London, U.K. In 1992 he and his wife decided to return to the US with their three children to settle in Huntington Beach, California. To pursue further studies, he attended various schools focusing on residential lending and personal finance. Furthermore, he has attended 386 hours of Department of Real Estate approved Continuing Education Courses in Consumer Protection.
Nabil is a mortgage planner for over 14 years now, educator and a producer of educational DVDs. He is the creator of The Credit DVD which presents to consumers, educators, regulators, lenders, and financial professionals the subject of credit in a clear, accurate, and simple manner. Nabil also has produced; Your Credit Score, El DVD del crédito and Su calificación de crédito. Nabil has recently signed a licensing agreement with TIME LIFE for the marketing and distribution of The Credit DVD series. In addition to his passion for finance, Nabil is a dedicated community volunteer, serving in many nonprofit organizations wherever he has lived. He’s currently a Board Member and treasurer at the thirty year- old Mariposa Women and Family Center in Orange, California.
