Tony Rizk

Dr. Tony Rizk has over twenty five years experience in engineering and construction. His work experience spans the United States, Morocco, Tunisia, Egypt, Jordan, Lebanon, Syria, Venezuela, and Argentina.
In 1992, Dr. Rizk founded Cedars Engineering Construction. A small engineering and construction company with operating offices in the United States and in Morocco. More on the company website www.cedarsengineering.com
From 2000-2006, Dr. Rizk served as the Los Angeles Regional Water Quality Control Board energy coordinator and the Water Board representative to the California Governor’s Green Team.
From 1994 to 2000, Dr. Rizk was engaged in numerous international projects where he received special recognition for his innovative solutions to complex issues involving the acquisition and construction of new electric power plants, the expansion and modernization of refinery facilities, and the treatment of chemical and biological wastes.
From 1990 to 1994, Dr. Rizk worked at the Tennessee Valley Authority Hydraulic Engineering Laboratory where he developed and implemented innovative technologies for the improvement of air and water quality and the operational modernization of electric power plants.
From 1984 to 1990, Dr. Rizk worked at the Oak Ridge National Laboratory on disposal of nuclear and chemical wastes.
Dr. Rizk has over 40 publications in environmental hydraulics and mechanical and civil engineering.
Dr. Rizk serves on the Board of Directors of the American Task Force for Lebanon and has served as advisor to the ATFL on energy and water resources.
