25th Anniversary of the House of Lebanon

This year marks the Silver Anniversary of the House of Lebanon (HOL), a premiere cultural center that proudly promotes and preserves the Lebanese culture and heritage for future generations of Lebanese-Americans!

To observe this milestone, the HOL is organizing a series of events throughout the month of October, celebrating Lebanese visual arts, music, and film.

Program

October 5

Art opening featuring HOL’s permanent collection of art, performance art event by artist Doris Bittar, the unveiling of Tiles of Heritage, a commemorative bench by Lebanese American children, overseen by artist Carole Choucair Oueijan.

October 5-27

Art exhibition featuring HOL’s permanent collection of art and Dreaming of Lebanon, a virtual reality experience directed by Cynthia Sawma and Martin Wählisch.

October 12-13

Lebanese film screenings. Details to follow.

October 19-20

Music performances by Lebanese and Lebanese American artists. Details to follow.
