DESCRIPTION:25th Anniversary of the House of Lebanon\nThis year marks the Silver Anniversary of the House of Lebanon (HOL)\, a premiere cultural center that proudly promotes and preserves the Lebanese culture and heritage for future generations of Lebanese-Americans! \nTo observe this milestone\, the HOL is organizing a series of events throughout the month of October\, celebrating Lebanese visual arts\, music\, and film. \nProgram\nOctober 5\nArt opening featuring HOL’s permanent collection of art\, performance art event by artist Doris Bittar\, the unveiling of Tiles of Heritage\, a commemorative bench by Lebanese American children\, overseen by artist Carole Choucair Oueijan. \nOctober 5-27\nArt exhibition featuring HOL’s permanent collection of art and Dreaming of Lebanon\, a virtual reality experience directed by Cynthia Sawma and Martin Wählisch. \nOctober 12-13\nLebanese film screenings.
